KASIO JONES

There was something about “The Great American Eclipse” of 2017 which occurred in August of that year. That was the month this writing team started producing what was to evolve into what Artie and Chase call “Throwback Pop”. This merger spawned 48 songs that were recorded at Chase’s studio. We spent a minimum of four days a week in the studio for three and a half years. This music is the byproduct of sacrifice and this provided us an opportunity to put our heads together and find common musical ground, and as you listen, these songs will show you what this notion of sacrifice can create. Lyrics/Production

His career started as a session drummer and progressed into Engineering/Mixing thru the 80’s and 90’s. Artie was the star of the Philadelphia franchise of the hit off-Broadway show “Tony and Tina’s Wedding” from 1995 to 2010. A diagnosis of Pancreatic and Liver Cancer changed his musical outlook and his love for songwriting/Production was rekindled after meeting Chase and deciding to partner up creating the writing partnership KasioJones which began August 2017. The team has 70+ songs recorded and the YouTube channel’s song list grows as they continue to record and are so happy to have this material to share.

CHASE GORBERG

For as long as i can remember, I’ve been writing music. I was always drawn to the idea of being able to tell a story that no words could possibly tell. That is exactly why when Artie and I started working on what is now KasioJones, the music seamlessly came together. Whenever you’re listening to a KasioJones track, you are hearing both of our stories and experiences working together to create one final presentation of what has come to be, our life’s story for the day.
